Calculating Grip Size to Buy the Right Tennis Racket

In games like badminton, tennis, table tennis the grip size of the racket matters a lot. If are playing with the right racket, you can perform better. 1.        When you visit a shop to purchase a racket, grip the racket in your playing hand. Now place the index finger of another hand in the gap between heel and finger tips of the playing hand. After placing the index finger, if still there is a gap between the index finger and tips of fingers of the playing hand, the grip is big. If the index finger fits too tightly, the grip is too small. And, if the index finger perfectly fits, you are having the right racket in your hand.

2.        In case you have no racket and placing an online order, grip size can be calculated with a ruler. As you can see, there are two parallel lines running across your hand. Now place one end of the ruler on the line closer to the wrist and measure to the tip of the ring finger. The calculated length in inches is the perfect grip size for you.
